COLLAGE!

Ann’s workshop, ”Photo Collage: Where Creativity and Community Meet” taught teens to create their vision of Newburyport using disposable cameras. The photo collage project was funded by a grant from the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank. Photo collages of downtown Newburyport by Taylor Abatiell Imogene Robinson, and Rebecca Moreau.

Artist and Teacher

In 1996 Ann McCrea returned from a trip to New York where the assemblages and collages of Lenore Tawney and Joseph Cornell inspired her to explore the rich field of collage. Combining her own experience with her love of teaching, she offers collage classes to adults and youth in her studio and through libraries.
