Messing About with Clay

Kids●Art Program

Afterschool Weekday Classes — Children's interests, literature and folk art inform the art projects. Clay sculpting, drawing, some painting and collages are among skills explored. Small classes and an emphasis on the gifts and interests of each child create a positive atmosphere where children's creativity can flourish. Tuition includes all materials and firing costs.

School-Year Saturday Classes — Clay sculpting, drawing, and collages with games, stories and snack for varied pace. Saturday series includes 3 consecutive classes. One makeup class per series. Tuition includes all materials and firing costs.

School Vacation Classes (February, April, & December) — Three hours of clay sculpting, drawing, printmaking, games and stories. Choose a one or two day class. Tuition includes all materials and firing costs.

Kids•Art Summer Classes — In sculpture, collage, prints, and painting, kids will celebrate the furred, finned, and feathered creatures of nearby ponds, tidal rivers, and ocean. Stories, illustrations, and photographs of fiction and non-fiction will provide inspiration. Small classes will enjoy a relaxed pace with a daily break in the park next to the studio. Choose a four or five day class. Tuition includes all materials and firing costs.
